O. R. Tambo International Airport (IATA: JNB, ICAO: FAOR, formerly FAJS) (ORTIA) is a major international airport in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa, near the city of Johannesburg and, to a lesser extent, the executive capital Pretoria. It serves as the primary airport for domestic and international travel to/from South Africa and is Africa's busiest airport with a capacity to handle up to 28 million passengers annually with non-stop flights to all continents except Antarctica. The airport is the hub of South Africa's largest international and domestic carrier, South African Airways (SAA), and a number of smaller local airlines. The airport handled a total of over 21 million passengers in 2017.

It was originally known as Jan Smuts International Airport, after the former South African Prime Minister of the same name. The airport was renamed Johannesburg International Airport in 1994 when the newly elected African National Congress government implemented a policy of not naming airports after politicians. The policy was reversed later, and the airport was renamed again on 27 October 2006 after Oliver Reginald Tambo; a former President of the African National Congress.

I was missing the major airport in SA, just having CPT was not enough. I knew that the quality of it would not be FT or FB. Having said that its pretty good and beats the default airport. The surroundings plus vegetation could do with a bit more visual design, a bit plain at times. But then again you park at the get and the important things such as Terminal plus Sode gates are implemented. In all satisfactory and it does the job fine. I great thanks to the developer to include a fix for the airports name change so you can get UTLIVE to work with easy enough instructions to implement. You can't beat this for the price. Joburg as been sort of abandoned by many devolopers. who rather make a scenery again that has been done before by someone else. At least Gaffer offers a decent upgrade to the default.

It is good airport product at this price. It has everything there. But it is not amazing.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect it to be up there with the big league versions. The ramp, the night lighting and Sode Jetways is nice but the terminal, FSX looking grass, and surrounding area look like no effort was put into it. It's better than default if you need FAOR.
