Kansai International Airport (IATA: KIX, ICAO: RJBB) is an international airport located on an artificial island in the middle of Osaka Bay off the Honshu shore, located within three municipalities, including Izumisano (north), Sennan (south), and Tajiri (central), in Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
Kansai opened on 4 September 1994 to relieve overcrowding at Osaka International Airport, which is closer to the city of Osaka and now handles only domestic flights. The Terminal 1 was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano. The airport serves as an international hub for All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, and Nippon Cargo Airlines, and also serves as a hub for Peach, the first international low-cost carrier in Japan.

I have to agree with the reviewers: the product is good and enjoyable yet, when it comes to spotting (which is why we spend 20-30€, after all), with Ultimate Traffic Live the airliners landing on the farthest runway (6L 24R) just disappear on landing after braking one star less for this, mainly because support would not answer, after almost two months since the purchase

Graphisch gelungen,aber in der Performance im Landeanflug gerne mal Standbild. So gefüllt ist die Szenerie ja nun nicht,das man einen Crash to Desktop befürchten müsste.

The product is thorough, which consists realistic terminals and sceneries. Most importantly, the movable red train that transits passengers from international terminal 1 gates, including Cathay Pacific flights; the airline which I fly. However, the only element lacked is the apron markings, making it difficult to know where to stop when taxiing to the gates. Thankfully, I only fly the Boeing 777, therefore does not really affect me. Overall, good effort; it would be great if the author could include the apron markings in the future.

Ich habe in den letzten Jahren immer wieder Addons von BDOAviation erworben und bin immer wieder positiv überrascht, wie gut sich die Jungs weiterentwickelt haben. Auch bei Kansai ist wieder ein deutlicher Sprung zu erkennen. Modellierung und Texturierung sind spitzenmäßig und zugleich serh performanceschonend. Anm.: Ich nutze RJBB in der v1.1 im FS2004. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Langstreckenziel und von meiner Seite voll empfehlenswert.

I was very looking forward for a good looking major airport in Japan. It features the additional runway which is not represented in default P3d, and the animated jetways is a nice touch.

Excellent airport scenery! I use this in FSX and I was very pleased to find very good frame rates and reasonable VAS usage in such a complex and detailed airport. Highly recommended!

Been waiting for a good rendition of this airport for a while and to my surprise BDO released this very quietly. Well worth the wait and the money. Not disappointed at all and the performance is great for such a feature rich scenery.

My first purchase from this developer. Overall a pretty good job (purchased for P3Dv4), not as high end as the best in the business, but very serviceable with good framerates. Knocked it down a star for the lack of autogen and buildings on the mainland side of the bridge to the airport (hurts immersion, used photo real without autogen next to area with autogen)and primarily for the flaws in the AFCAD (spent a day trying to figure out why my AI aircraft disappeared while landing on 6L/24R). It turns out the taxiways are not linked between T1 and T2 in the AFCAD which causes the disappearance issue when the AI tries to taxi to T1 where it should park, and several of the parking spots where not aligned properly on the land side of T1 causing the jetway bridges not to connect to the AI aircraft. Easy fix for the AFCAD in case you notice the same thing.
